Kiss My Airs it's Air Max Day

As we draw closer towards Air Max Day 2017, Here's a brief history of the iconic silhouette that every sneakerheads must know. Circa 1987, legendary designer Tinker Hatfield made a history by introducing a revolutionary pair of Air Max 1.

Air Max 1 is Nike's very first pair to have visible air unit as well as one of the first ones Nike aired on their very first television ad. It was part of the Air Pack Nike releases which also featured the Air Trainer 1, Air Sock, Air Revolution and Air Safari.

From then onward, Air Max has been a good player giving more and more to those who appreciate the technology and design behind it and needless to say attracting more wearer, its innovation led to a series that’s still madly strong even thirty years later. For instance, Air Max 90, Air Max 95, Air Max 97, Air Max 98, Air Max 2015 and don't forget quintessential pairs such as Air Max 360, Air Max 180.

This year, together with the Air VaporMax, Nike celebrates Air Max Day with the most innovative Air Max 1 to date, the celebratory anniversary edition of Air Max 1 Ultra 2.0.

Today, we see plenty of Air Max sneakers in existence, making it so damn hard to narrow down the absolute best releases and to even name our favorite pair.
