Yes, she’s that girl who spends $10K on streetwear a month.
Sneaker hobbyist Smirnov’s interest grew from a simple inclination to the streetwear aesthetic to it being an opportunity to thrive in a kind of community that compliments her tomboyish personality.
Much like the other females in this male-dominated industry, she strives to inspire and prove that success doesn’t come without hardwork. She forms part of the editorial team of Indonesian lifestyle website FREAK OUT!, as well as manages some businesses in the food and beverage industry.
With the over 10K followers on Instagram, she mentions that the key to keeping them engaged is to consistently post good, educational content.
Smirnov currently owns over a hundred vintage shirts and more than fifty sneakers, including signed shoes from the NBA. Part of her collection and also the most expensive and rarest item is her Michael Lau x Nike SB Dunk Low. Another notable piece in her closet is her very own Air Jordan 5 Retro Tokyo.
So what else has Smirnov yet to cop? Definitely the Nike Dunk SB Low Paris, she says.
